No surprise. Got 49/50 votes. Favre got the other one. Chris Havel must've had a vote this year. So Favre is now the only 3 time MVP and 2 time runner-up in the league. |

I'm actually surprised Randy Moss didn't get any votes. |

Personally I think that Moss should have been the MVP. Brady got away with so many ugly throws to Moss where Moss was just sitting there waiting for the ball on deep throws. Moss makes a quarterback look so much better. Look at Culpepper. Brady probably comes off as the more likeable of the two though, I guess. But I agree that he should have garnered some votes. Brady is more likable to the 50 voters, but his getting 0 is telling. |

no shock, 50 TD's passes on a 16-0 team, was there ever a doubt? Deserve it, thats open to conversation. Did he have the best season as a QB this year? I would say he did. Was he the single most valuable player in the league? I dont know. Thats part of the deal, its not always who is truely the most valuable player in the entire league, its more about who is the medias feel good story. Who did they fall in love with each year. Often previous years achievments lend weight to who gets named MVP. I dont know who else should have been named. I can see reasons for Moss or Favre. But who else. I am willing to accept that Brady should have gotten it, I just just wish it would have been someone else. |

is this most valuable to your team or the league? if it most valuable to your respective team, then brady shouldnt have won, it should have been either Favre or Moss. without Brett, Packers are under .500, without moss, brady doesnt even throw 30 tds. Then they should decide from those 32, who has the greatest impact of all. if you take that player out of the equation and does it really kill their team. Do some good hard analyise to determine which player is truely the MVP in the league. Funny, Devin Hester becomes a solid canidate. Adrain Peterson, or even Steve Hutchison could be considered. But they doent look at it like that. Its really just a gut feeling call by the committee. |
