Default Edge or Addai a better back?
I was thinking about this last night. Which is the better back? Edge did it for years, of course, but if you were to pull Jo out and insert Mr. James, would the outcome be positive or negative?

I would bet that James would be better, but not by much. When you look at the business side of it, paying Addai much less, makes him a better back.

I think the same.

Edge is probably kicking himself for leaving for the money.

I think ya gotta look at their offensive line and look at the production as a result as them pushing people around in the right direction. I think you can put a number of backs into that scheme and get similar results, all positive.

Well, he was also lied to. AZ told him that they would be improving their line in the offseason as their second priority to signing him. That didn't happen.

I've got to think Edge is better. The only reaosn I really ask is Addai seems to be getting a lot of love over the last week.

Right now James is better.

But Indy was very smart in letting him go.

In a few years, James's talents will start eroding, and Addai will only get better.

Addai may even pass James next year.

Edge is better.

Did he share snaps as much as Addai does with Rhodes though?

I think Addai and Rhodes are a pretty solid 1-2 punch, I don't remember that so much when Edge was around.

I hate when people say 28 is old. Makes my feathers grey that much faster.

Okay, maybe he's not so old. It seems like he's been around for longer.

He skipped a year of school to get in the draft. He does have 5 years on Addai, though.

And at least 1 more major knee injury.

28 is old, though, if you're a starting RB in the NFL. If not, no worries.
