i'm in the middle of an argument with a fan over on the shit boards.

here's the question,Who is the better receiver Nate Burleson or Roy Williams?
Roy Williams by a landslide. This shouldnt really be up for discussion.

Burleson has Culpepper, Williams has Harrington...if the numbers are even close you have to give the advantage to Williams.

I like burelson but i'm a vike fan

it's hard to say, both are young and have shown a lot of flashes, but nate is only one witha 1000 yard season under his belt

he also lead the league in YAC last year

Nate has shown more so far. Roy probably has more top-end potential.

Nate's a Cris Carter type, just get the job done, move the chains, a professional.

Roy's (potentially) a Randy Moss type, big plays, get into the mind of the defense, alter the way the other team plays the game.

A better question is who's better CC or Moss? That I don't know.

Potential + ability. Burelson is a nice player but hes not a #1. Burelson is solid when you need a first down; Williams is the guy you want if you want a true gamebreaker. Williams has the ability to be a star. Thats why you get taken in the top 10. Thats why you get compared to other great wr's

Why argue something that can't be proven due to the lack of long term statistics?

I find them both to be dime-a-dozen receivers.
