I remember looking that up last week just as a random search. It's pretty hilarious to see them "fight" to the death along with the piano music in the background. It's like playing hip hop at a funeral.

The "Chuck Norris" ninja culture (think of the bad teacher in "The Karate Kid" or the ridiculous flag-pants man in "Napoleon Dynamite") frightens me. Anybody else frightened?

EDIT: The bozos in the video remind me of those people, I mean.

when I was young my best friend and I did that sort of stuff with sticks, broom handles, and anything else we could find. Then we got older, found a kendo dojo. Some one needs to tell them about a kendo dojo.

But they're using shinai, as if they knew something about kendo but were just ignoring it. That's my worry.

That bothered me... and the fact that it was on the internet means they are proud of it.

Or it could mean one of their friends turned evil and decided to post it on the internet.

I don't know if I should laugh or be mad at them for trying to self-teach kendo.....

The so call ballet dude is not doing ballet at all. Look at his hands, he was swinging something like a stick. Can't be sure as it is not clear enough.

I think it's quite obvious that they belong to a "real neenja dojo". they have the all black uniforms, the guy in the mirror is practicing geisha dancing (to sneak in to your castle in disquise). If you watch it in slow motion you can actually see an invisible neenja fly in. and he looks super pissed off.

I really don't see what there is to be so incensed about...if they're enjoying it, let them!
They're not claiming to be doing kendo or koryu.
