Hi All
Not sure this is the right place for this, but if it isn't, I'm sure it will get moved to the right place :^> I know it's Chakri Day today (the 6th), how widely is it celebrated in Thailand, and how is it celebrated? Do you say "Happy Chakri Day" to people? I have read quite a bit of the history of this day but nothing about it in modern Thailand. I have never been in the kingdom on this date so have not experienced it first hand. -Mekk |

Well, it is a public holiday but really it is not celebrated in the way that they do for the King's Birthday. There were ceremonies but that is basically it.
