LOL "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson, but even better: "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler (U.K.). I think I've died and gone to cheesy pop-rock heaven (read: hell)

"Tossin' and Turnin'" by Bobby Lewis - I remember the song but not the artist.

My "life's theme song" (18th bday) is apparently "Bad Girls" by Donna Summer. I much prefer "My Sharona" which was number 1 a few weeks later.

Let's see....records weren't made of vinyl, they were of wax.....there were no electric guitars, in fact, chords hadn't even been invented yet.

If chords hadn't been invented, you'd be hundreds of years old.

Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen!

*tsk*
Yes.... HUNDREDs of years old.
They still have a festival in Luxembourg where they celebrate the birth of the chord in 1463, which is nothing compared to the jublilation of the festival del musica in Barcelona where they celebrate the day music itself was born in the court of Wilfred the Hairy in 879.

Before that people used to look quite silly dancing around the campfire, the muffled sounds of their footsteps a constant embarassing reminder that there was something... missing.

"It's Now or Never" - by the King

One of the better "birth" day songs I've seen on this thread, though I do like Runsyi's Pink Floyd entry.

Kind of funny to see all you young'uns born to disco songs. Can't wait for a few more years when we'll have people posting that they were born to Baby Got Back, and The Thong Song.
