Default Dodge withdrawing from NASCAR at the end of the season...
I don't want to say this is a shocker, but I didn't see this coming.

In the ESPN.com article, they mention Fiat, Chrysler's parent company and make the point that many doubt whether Fiat has any passion for NASCAR. They probably don't see much worth in NASCAR. I just wonder if they feel the company needs to work on fielding higher quality cars to their customers rather than go racing, which eats up a lot of money that can be used in R&D in other fashions. I don't know what others think of Chrysler vehicles, but I've always thought they have been second rate to Ford and GM vehicles in terms of quality (not that GM was a whole lot better), fit, and finish.
