Uh oh, looks like 2000 all over again. Anyone with tickets for qualifying is being told not to turn up tomorrow due to the rain.
UPDATE: We are dissuading fans from coming to the event tomorrow if you have a public car pass, those with P&R & are camping will be fine Twitter / SilverstoneUK: UPDATE: We are dissuading |

It's a real shame, we went to qualifying last year and the setup was great, we were in and out of the car parks in no time. I suppose this is what happens when 80,000 people turn up for the practice day - how many circuits can't even get that on a Sunday??
I doubt Bernie will see it that way though, he won't be happy until there's tarmac for 20 miles in each direction and a roof over the whole circuit |

With only 3 sets of full wets for the whole weekend, and most having put 15+laps on one of them yesterday, going out in Q1 could turn out to be a strategic masterstroke if full wets are needed for the race
Looking at the latest forecast, the race tomorrow might just escape the worst of the rain though. |
