Default FIA changes stewarding for 2010...
...but will it mean more consistent decisions?

To improve the credibility of the regulators there will be a smaller group of permanent F1 stewards (we hear that this will be between eight and 10) plus two-three former F1 drivers. They will form a pool from which the stewards of each event will be selected. There will also be a national steward at each event. So there will be four stewards in total. There will no longer be a non-voting chairman and each group of stewards will elect their own chairman from amongst themselves for each race. Utilising video and radio exchanges they should aim to reach decisions very efficiently http://joesaward.wordpress.com/2009/...process-in-f1/
