just saw alanis on chelsea lately. she looked beautiful and (as always) was incredibly sweet. i'm so happy for her! and i agree with Scarlet, i think she'll be a wonderful mom.

Very happy for her. I'm such a big fan, and it was through her that I found artists like Tori, Patty Griffin, and others. Craving new music from her, but it sounds like she'll have other priorities for a while. Album in 2012? most likely :/

Btw, she contributed a song to the film she's in. Radio Free Albermath or whatever it's called. The song is "Professional Torturer" and you can listen here: http://alanismorissette.info/viewtopic.php?t=50696

It's recorded from inside a premier of the movie, but the quality is great. I personally think it's a fantastic song; great lyrics, her voice sounds gorgeous, and it's very SFIJ.

This leaked in full, in CD quality! Not sure if it's actually set for release, however. No word on if there's a soundtrack to this. Anyway, I love this delicate side of her. Haven't heard a song like this from her since the Junkie days. This could be a sister song to Heart of the House.
