I E mailed the official EHIC site and got this reply......

Thank you for your e-mail regarding www.ehic-card.com which is an
unofficial EHIC website.

There is only one official EHIC website and that is ours
www.dh.gov.uk/travellers

The relevant authorities are aware of the unofficial site and are
currently seeking legal advice.

Thank you for your concerns.

Kind regards

Rich & Sue,
No matter how street wise we may be (I'm supposed to be a scally scouse) we can all be caught out in one way or another, so thank you for the warning. What the site is all about.

I nearly fell for this. Luckily I remebered this post from a while back. I had filled in the form then realised that it was the one mentioned.
