Default BBC to film in Santa Pola
AUGUST 16 will see a night of crime in a popular Costa Blanca restaurant - and the BBC will be filming every moment.

The BBC team will be on the Costa Blanca making the third series of Living In The Sun with new presenter Kristian Digby, one half of the Kristian-and-Dom team from property programme To Buy Or Not To Buy. The show will feature Brits who have come to live in Spain and will cover success stories from some who have started business ventures - so when the TV company Ricochet's producer Hannah heard about Murder Comes To Call, a business staging fun whodunnit nights for local restaurants and hotels, she jumped at the chance to include them in the programme. Roger Keevil, one of the Murder Comes To Call partners, says: “When Hannah came to see us, we told her about our murder night at the Leprechaun Restaurant in Santa Pola, and she was very keen to feature us on the show. In fact, she's even asked us if we can recruit Kristian to the Murder Squad for the night, so it looks as if we'll have an extra detective on the case."

So not only diners will have an opportunity to watch a television programme being made and to meet one of the BBC's newest star presenters. But they'll have to be quick - the last Murder Night was a sell-out, and it's reservations only.

There is an Irish bar/restaurant along the coast road just as you get into Santa Pola del Este. I think it might be that one.

Hi Shiela,

there is a Lluna restaurant upstairs at the GA centre. During the day they specialise in ice creams, sweets, Pastries etc, but they also have an evening menu.

I had an excellent meal there

Cheers

That must be the place. My friend had been staying at Puerta Marina 111.
