Wow, that is one of the worst, most inaccurate PS Calculators I have seen.

Even without the ability to input all the equipment my system has, it says I need way more wattage then what I actually use under max load.

Say's I'm running 959 Watts, and I'm using an Enermax Galaxy 850W.

This one below is better...

http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

On that I get 787 Watts, which is pretty close to correct, I think!

I've recently used this one: http://www.antec.outervision.com/
takes everything in account.

edit: oh now I see that it's the same one Snoopy_UK posted, but only embedded @ antec's website.

Damn. Never realized how much I was overestimating my PSU needs before.

Have a 750W psu, the outervision test says i'll max out at 447 at stock settings. Too lazy to go and put in all the changed values and see how that'll affect the results but there's no way it could be anything like 300W extra, right?

I don't think that this is all that bad of a thing for Newegg, though...from a business standpoint, of course. Higher output power supplies typically cost more money, and maybe with a really crappy PSU I would *need* a 500 watt but not with a decent make. [rofl]

It says I need like 448W, but there is a few things missing like the H50.

I would choose one of the water pumps, which probably has roughly the same wattage as the H50, I guess if I looked through google I could find its wattage.....

http://www.hardwareheaven.com/review...rsair-h50.html

2.5 watts from that page above, add the fan or dual push/pull fans if you have them, maybe another watt or two.

So whatever the PSU calc gave you, plus another 5 watts max. (pump + fan/s).
