Fine? FINE? It's a MONSTROSITY.

Look at all of that UNCOVERED SANDWICH. Look at how much OVERLAPS.

It is a crime.

You worked on this project, didn't you? Are you still working on it? Getting paid for this thread?

No. NO.

Some parts are too cheesy, some have no cheese.
So... you get some variety? What's so bad about that?

I've never liked subway. All their stuff seems so low quality.

How is that a British food reference, do you think we really iron lettuce?

It's the correct terminology. How else would you say it?

Please orient the cheese in such a manner that each alternating slice is flipped such that it covers the most surface area without overlapping?

Or the ridiculous phrasing in the image in the OP?

If people don't know what it is, their public education has failed them.
"Dude, could you maybe spread the cheese out a little so it covers more of the sub? You know, have the triangles point opposite directions."

Dumbing it down

I'm going to try saying: "Oh my god, what the hell are you doing? I want the cheese the old way!"

I want the 4 bits of cheese made into 2 squares so it makes a nice neat rectangle. Tessellating along the hypotenuse FTW.

I'm not sure I'd like working in Subway, even if I got to torture Asher.

Clearly the best job in the world would be to prepare Asher's food so that you can watch his reaction at all your asymmetrical creations.
It'd be almost as fun as working at the Catholic Church where Ben goes

Laz just loves to find obscure British food references. I mean ironing lettuce?
