Okay - so I am working from home today and the teaser for Dr. Phil alludes to a show about a cheater.

SO even though I hate the Dr. Phil tv show, I am compelled to watch. I am now fascinated by all things on tv related to cheating. Right after discovery, I even watched that terrible show "cheaters" 3 times.

Let me know if anyone else watches the Dr. Phil show and share your comments. I'm gonna watch it right now (on in my time zone as I type this)

Not much to report back.

Wife is the CS. During a period of seperation, when she and BS were to be working on getting themselves healthy, she had sex with several men. Eventually began a relationship with one.

Dr. Phil coddled her, suggesting she had an unhealthy emotional need to fall in love over and over. So he suggested she needed to enter counselling to look at why she likes to fall in love but doesn't like being in love.

Her poor husband wants to reconcile.

The OM wants to maintain a relationship with her..and doesn't give a fig that she is still married.

Phil is not licensed and his first wife alleges he was a serial cheater. Guy is a moron, IMO.
As for the show "Cheaters", sure it is low class. But, the host does seem to get the extent of the devestation and they really do hold the cheater's feet to the fire. Same with the affair partner. Thye shine the light on these ****roaches.

I have heard rumours and rumblings related to all that Arnold posts. I do think that Dr. Phil is a menace -- he is sexist, uninformed, and gives terrible advice from a health and safety perspective. I really can't stand him at all.

But was drawn like a moth to flames to the cheating show. Not because I'm trying to understand the 'why' of it anymore. I get the 'why' - I was married to a selfish man who did not value me or the marriage the way I did. I am just so very curious to hear other people's stories.
