Default In 1945 the Nazis fled to the moon. In 2018 they are coming back.
Why are the Nazi spaceships decorated with Iron Crosses rather than swastikas?

Also, if the Germans could invent antigravity, why couldn't they learn how to make nukes, build a few hundred on the moon, and then bomb the US and Russian into anarchy in the 50s or 60s, while there were still Germans that didn't hate the Nazis?

Right. Spaceships & the ability to propagate on a lifeless rock, but they don't think that's enough to beat the allies in 1945.
The ability to propagate on the moon is not that hard if only you find a way to get lots of heavy machiner over there.

Also, it just doesn't make any sense. How would they ship enough people to Antarctica to send enough people to the moon to be able to have a viable invasion force by 2018?
Dude, pointing out all the various things that don't make sense about this would take you the rest of your natural life. And it'd be like beating up a blind man, no challenge. So let it go and enjoy the awesomeness.

Also, I assume at least some of you saw the GI Joe movie? It was hysterically bad. My favorite part was at the end, where Cobra built a secret base in the "perfect location," under the ice caps at the north pole. When the Joes manage to blow it up with a fleet of attack subs, they have to dodge all the ice falling on them. Yes: ice falling through water. It was incredible. I like to think a group of writers thought that up while brainstorming in a group session, sipping drinks with lots of crushed ice floating in them.

It's a great premise. They could tie in stealing farmers/cows/crops too!

By the way, Nikolai, alerting me to the existence of this movie has now, finally, completely validated your presence on this site.

The premise reminds me somewhat of Rocket Ranger.

This has the makings of being the best movie ever, right after Snakes on a Plane.
Ouch.

1945-2018 is about 3 generations.

With a ratio of ten females to each male. And considering each man will be required to do prodigious...service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature. With just 10k people transported to antarctica and assuming a growth rate of 6% they should have a population of 600k eager ubermensch. Not to mention match Germany's prewar Gross National Product within say, twenty years.

Also if I where to take this seriusly, if you have antigrav you could quite easily recruit from South America and elsewhere in the following years.
Also after 3 generations of harsh eugenics with a hand picked founder population I am certain that even despite the difficulties due to radiation the population would be quite exceptional. Even if they don't contine unethical R and figure just GE themselves. Not to mention the cultural changes, they would probably an extremley focused culture. Also antigrav could lead to some wonderfull weapons with 80 years of development, assuming the Nazis where smart and kept spies on Earth to leach off the tech developed by the untermensche.

Also dude depending on the energy requirements, the Nazis have a far better method of containing burning plasma than inertia or magnetism. So we have an energy source and possibly "clean" fusion nukes.

BTW If I was a Nazi leader and had antigrav tech and couldn't mass produce weapons on a scale large enough to ensure the Allies or the Soviets wouldn't get their hands on even one of my toys I'd probably consider bailing to the Moon. But I wouldn't indluge in crazy dreams of reconquest. I would probably recruit from the Earth building on the Moon and eventually relocating to Mars which seems to be a more plesant location.

I'd try to fortify enough to withstand any invasion and if that didn't work, I'd try to see if leaving the Solar System would be an option.

I just had to acknowledge the apt Sellers reference since nobody else has. Good show old chap.
