Default Best UK Broadband
Hey,

What broadband providers do you guys reccomend, i want to use it mainly for streaming HD media such as iplayer, as well as playing on steam!

I don't have cable in my area but i do have an O2 contract which means i can get 20Mb broadband for £9/mo.

But how good can broadband at £9/month be????

Cheers,

Paul

go for O2, I have Be which is owned by O2 and uses the same network, service has been fantastic, also no realistic usage limits either.

Id actually recommend Virgin Media. Just don't get any package below 50mb. Theyre not so good. But the 50mb is brilliant.

So, O2 is definatly a go, if its as good as people say it is, it will be fantastic value for money!

Just got my landline activated, so i guess i better get it all sorted [thumbup]

Found out a few things, O2 own BE, so thumbs up there.

AND if you get O2 broadband via quiado, it works out at £1.09 / mo!!!!!!!

im an O2 customer so got the discount. £9.79 a month with the first 2 months free
up to 20 mb but actually get 14-15 with no caps, usually download around maybe 60-70 a month and never had it slow down,
pretty damn happy with them

Cool, looking forward to having a play on Sky player on the xbox, and finally get back onto Counter Strike.

Been 6 years without a proper broadband connection, woop woop, cant wait!
