Dalwhinnie, Walker red and black, Crown, Tomintoul, Glenmorangie, Balvenie
The three at the back are tough. I'll take wild stabs and go Aberlour, Macallan 18 yrs, and...Benmorach (these three based solely on the fact that the two single malts I do recognize are Speysides also) Personally I like peaty scotches. My fave is probably Ardbeg. Flavour punches you in the back of the throat. |

You like Maker's because they have some of the coolest bottles ever. I love me the hand-dipped wax. ![]() on New Year's. Very nice (bottle and flavour). I drink all sorts of drinks. Liquor, beer, mixed drinks, girly mixed drinks. There's nothing wrong with liking any of those. |

My mom's husband drinks whiskey, but all he drinks is chilled stuff (and sorta cheap). I think the nicer bottle he had was Black Velvet (which was drinkable, but maybe just because it was still a bit cold, I was trying to let it warm up to get the full flavor).
He also mixes it with coke. I really don't understand that, if you just want the alcohol then use Rum or Vodka. The point of (good) whiskey is the flavor. JM (and bad alcohol is not worth drinking) |

There is a heck of difference betwen "cheap" and good vodka - just like there is with whiskey. Though, I must admit that there isn't that must taste in good vodka, but it is there. And I know there can be flavor to Rum, I don't like it as much though. JM |
