Not a bad a troll.

I'm not trolling, I just think this letter is rad beyond words. It's not quite RoboCon, but it comes pretty close and I'm pretty sure the guy is 100% serious!

I like the part where the writing thinks we're more safe now that we've united the Arab street against us and caused our allies to shun us.

And BTW: How many of the 9/11 Commission's recommedations were adopted by Bush??

Before Spring there will be a successful terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Take it to the bank.

If Obama is to blame for a terrorist attack before Spring 2009, then Bush is even more so to blame for the terrorist attack in (essentially) Fall 2001, no?

Given Winston's powers of prediction as far as the election was concerned, I'd say this virtually guarantees Obama will have the most successful presidency of all time. http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif

That may be true, but the logic in my statement is rather hard to argue with, is it not?

And the first two rooms remind me of Poly, except we don't quite have that much sophistication here.

Bush didn't "keep us safe." The 9/11 attack happened on his watch. Then he took out the number one bulwark against Iran in the Middle East. He got us involved in two simultaneous land wars in Asia. He traded some of our liberties for safety (see Ben Franklin quote). Then he gave us no real increased safety by avoiding proper planning or doing it poorly. Terrorists could have done what Katrina did to the levees in New Orleans and the Feds had no idea what to do.

Compared to that, Obama will have to work very hard to do half as bad. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif
