We're now up to four interviews. Papa McCain took little Sarah by the hand and marched her right back to do a second interview with Katie Couric. Papa McCain didn't help much by sitting at her side, coaching her, and by saying the question by a constituant was "Gotcha Journalism." Isn't a prime component of "Gotcha Journalism" a question by a journalist??
![]() Billy Kristol had the best advice so far given to the GOP. Stop over coaching Palin. Let Palin be Palin. Her self-confidence is being rattled by all the bad advice she's being given by professional politicos. God knows, I have no use for Palin, but even I know she's a better candidate than the stumbling idiot the GOP has turned her into. ![]() |

JFK got away with it, but it should not be a consideration. Eight years ago I might have voted for McCain. Because of the color of his skin, and he is slim? Don't lower yourself to the level of Muslim extremist. Which is not the same as Muslim, anyway. alert('saar chasm'); |

Those who did had some basis (e.g. he threw away his medals and maybe fabricated some things). No one simply made fun of military service, not like we're seeing here. I hope your balls fall off. Wigger please, Swift Boat **** was 100000x worse than what people say about McCain. |

Okay, fine, re: Kerry. What about Senator Saxby Chambliss and former Senator Max Cleland? |

If the mugging of Sen. Max Cleland of Georgia is a fair indicator of what is to come, the fall elections will be ugly. Cleland, a decorated veteran and triple amputee, was attacked by his Republican opponent, Rep. Saxby Chambliss, "for breaking his oath to protect and defend the Constitution." http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...2002Jun19.html
Rove's machine convinced voters that a man who had given up 3 limbs in defense of his country didn't care about his country. |
