Default If I were a conservative politico I wouldn't go on liberal news.
Funny, I wouldn't ever go on Fox News because of their bias.

I long for the days of Cronkite and Severeid, when newsmen were newsmen. The only evidence of bais I ever saw was when Cronkite teared up announcing that JFK had died.

It's interesting how people can look at the same thing and see it so very differently. Like they are looking at it from two different places.

Don't know about CNN, but some programs on MSNBC are biased like Keith Olberman or the Rachel Maddow show. It think it helps balances things out with FOX news. Olberman's constant harping on Bill O'Reilly gets tiresome even though I dislike him as well.

Still, there are so many commercials, distractions like tickers and trivial news stories that I find it's much better just to read news articles online or otherwise.

Also, Nancy Grace is the worst news personality ever. Every time I manage to get a glimpse of her program there is always some missing white girl story.

Foxnews is the worst offender in every way for bias. Their reports on sex and violence in video games are unforgettably bad. They hire talking heads to condemn games they've never played or even seen. Christian values and all that. It was awful. They should not get a forum to express their views?

You shouldn't hire me as an expert on Jewish history and put me on national TV to condemn it, would you?

Fox news does **** like that. They hire "experts" in fields they know nothing about, mostly with a blatant agenda, then let them spew uninformed **** onto the airwaves.

It's a lack of journalistic integrity.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Let the viewer decide.

Asher, I feel the same way about CNN and MSNBC. It seems that there is something in people that gives them a different sense one from another. Like we can't see things the same way Asher, and that's interesting to me.

Btw, Bill O'Rielly isn't supposed to be news and he certainly isn't a Repug. I've seen him go after Repugs pretty hard, and he blamed the Bush administration and all the other administrations that didn't warn the folks for the financial crisis. He blasted the treasury guy that came up with the plan for keeping the emergency sectret and then said he can't be trusted to come up with a rescue package.

Usually if he tells someone to shut up its because Bill can't get a word in edgewise and the other guy is just spouting his agenda without discussion. Funny, Bill usually tells a guy to shut up about the time I think to myself 'I wish that A-hole would shut up'...let someone else speak.

Yeah, I especially liked it when Bill was being owned by that kid and he just kept telling the kid to shut up. It was classicly awesome journalism. Is he a journalist? I thought his position was more of a commentary style. I don't consider those folks opinion types.

Well, I watch the BBC quite often as well, and they don't seem to need the overly dramatic style the US news often show.

BBC World has no bias

Nah, of course they have. I was more about how they overall present the news.....

If that station has a larger viewer base than CNN and MSNBC combined, that issue is called into doubt.

Asher...and like CNN it never ends. Why get personal Asher? Why do some liberals always get personal? Don't you realize it reflects more on you than on me? That's why you guys lose so many elections. You put people off with your personal attacks.
