My wife and I are both school teachers and are considering crossing the pond. I teach middle school science and social studies and my wife teaches high school history and also has a degree in school administration. What is the typical life like for educators in Great Britain? Things like salary, socioeconomic status, and place in the community? Also, is there a market for American teachers in Great Britain? Anyone know of what actions would be needed in order for our certificates to transfer?
