Have to agree with you there 100%. I haven't seen the original for a very long time but the remake is just superb.

It just comes down to individual taste, the remake scored 5.5 on IMDB and the original got 7.6. Some people also just hate remakes which I can understand as a lot of remakes I've seen have been really poor compared to the original.

Every time the original comes on tv i watch it

ive got the remake but ive only watched that once.
