Default Should I get a haircut?
Keep it or shave it. (Clippers first, even if you go at it with a razor.) No compromises!

That took a long time, and was painful.

If it were me I'd go to a barber and say 'crew cut'. It will make the barber very happy and you would look great. But! It's not me.

That's pretty cool hair you got there Jon. My hair doesn't get nearly that curly, but I've had it out about that long a few times the last decade. I don't think my hair can cut it anymore though, it's getting thinner

Take up surfing, or some other beach activity, and get a nice natural sun-bleached look.

I'd probably cut it off after the summer, just because once my hair gets that long it starts to annoy me, especially in the winter. If it doesn't bother you, keep it.

Lose the beard in any case.

Judges 16:17

...There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man."

I have found what Carti said to be true, as usual. Don't know why some guys cling to their long hair. There's a whole identity thing that doesn't make much sense that I can see. Guys mostly don't see the logic in it and since guys tend to be logical they mostly wonder what's wrong with a long haired guy and avoid him. Girls like guys who they can show off to their friends, or something I got no clue but long hair tends to be a nono. So, what makes having long hair so appealing that guys get worked up about getting it cut off?

A better plan is to kill Will Hoge and take over his career. He probably lip syncs anyway.
