Default Pelargonium hispidum
Grew this bizarre geranium from seed. Took two years to bloom and it seems the blooms are terminal! I've never seen a geranium with flowers ending at the stem with no signs of the stem continuing on. Looks like this species may be monocarpic! Guess I'll have to save seed.

wonderful photo!

I don't know the first thing about geraniums.... but last year I saw a row of different types in the National Arboretum herb garden. It was quite interesting.

(Hmmmm... just searched my photos for pelargonium and came across this one. wierd.)
