i cant conect to download.com with my pc and a few other sites .cant conect to the psn with my ps3.there are many sites i conect with no issues .but some are down i tryied hooking modem up straight to pc and ps3 .rebooted everything i tryied everything.wondering if im the only one

No problems here. Just the usual sometimes webpage may not load so I have to refresh it.

just got off the phone with my isp.they said they may have some dns issues had to talk to 7 techs to get that info.fun fun fun

I have been having issues for quite awhile today. What ISP do you have? I am running Charter...

charter they suck.the 2nd level tech said he will info me some info to change my dns settings.that was hours ago no email.im about to walk to there local office and cuss em out.they also was going to give me 10 meg service they never set it up

Last time I called their tech support the lvl2 guy told me my motherboard Ethernet ports were toast. Of course this is even though I was still able to share files with my laptop...
Then he tried to convince me it was my router or my modem that was dead... he kept telling me that I should consider buying a mac because these problems don't happen with a mac......

The straight dope

Our nameservers are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

Set that as your DNS, it should fix your Internet problems if your ISP's DNS servers are to blame.

waaaaa waa man im frustrated changed dns was able to go to more sites but my voip quit working guess it has to use the default dns .i also read some stuff at the dslreports website under charter but im so tired i have no idea what it means.never got any sleep last night
