I saw it tonight.. I thought it was entertaining, but gosh the part with the jet was too freaking silly.. This isn't fantastic 4 you know?? Next time I might watch the movie I will fast forward that scene.. Ridiculous, but ooh well, the rest was kinda good.

Can't wait, but I expect I will wait till I am home to go and see it. Want a big screen cinema without Spanish subtitles, don't want anything to hinder the experience at all! Be the first Die Hard movie I would have seen on the big screen.

Also looking forward to Oceans 13 and Bourne Ultimatum [thumbup]

I'm really looking forward to Bourne, but I saw a new trailer for Die Hard 4 and it looks kinda disappointing. Sometimes they go too far with ridiculous scenes. In this case I saw a jet in the trailer that's flying like 5 inches above the ground and hunting down Mclain (whatever his name is).. It reminded me of the part in mission impossible 1 with the helicopter in the tunnel. That destroyed the movie for me... Also the mac guy cannot act..

The cast list for Die Hard 4 is actually pretty impressive.... certainly Maggie Q is very successful actress. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is pretty darn hot.... Bruce kicks arse so that alone will help carry the film.... I too am skeptical of Justin Long but I hope he doesn't drag it down.

Bourne is a different kettle of fish, but after reading the books and watching the first movies I am sure the third will be AMAZING!

That's exactly how I feel. Every time I see a trailer for this movie I cringe and wonder how it went so far astray since the first movie...

I was in central London on Wednesday and a helicopter flew over dragging an enormous banner advertising this film.

I'm looking forward to it.

Study the pattern:

First one: good
Second one: crap
Third one: OK
Fourth one: ???

I see a harmonic series

That and the fact that the plot is about some computer stuff totally ruins this for me. I've been a Die Hard fan since I saw the first two about 12 years ago and I even liked the third one but this one might as well be any random action movie. It just seems to lack the Die Hard "feel" completely. They just can't make (action) movies anymore so why ruin the reputation of the name (the new Rambo movie might make me take that back tho, it actually looks promising [thumbup]).

John Mclane vs Jack Bauer!.

Now that would be an interesting fight, both cannot be killed no matter how hard you try.

Just seen a making off on tv, seems like they have quite a few innovative stunts like in all the previous parts. The good thing is, they still alot of the stunts the old school way, with real explosives and stuntmen. I'd take that over CGI any day. (Of course some things are still CGI)
