Working in computer sales and support and with the amount of stupid morons and arseholes that phone me up and waste my time when i have better things to do, i don't really find this funny, especially considering that i have a queue of customers infront of me waiting to be served and having to explain to some idiot how to plug his speakers in to the correct hole on the back of his computer for 15minutes.

Working in computer sales and support and with the amount of stupid morons and arseholes that phone me up and waste my time when i have better things to do, i don't really find this funny, especially considering that i have a queue of customers infront of me waiting to be served and having to explain to some idiot how to plug his speakers in to the correct hole on the back of his computer for 15minutes.
I work in sales comp sales too, and had no idea how stupid people actually are until now

And how they can make something so simple be utterly complicated, not just for them.. but for me to explain because they're complete morons when it comes to the subject[no]

Loving Fonejacker at the moment although a couple of the sketches are a little painful/boring every now and then he comes along with something that makes me and my housemate piss ourselves at.

My favourite one is the one where the guy tries to phone up about a flat and he pretends to be the automated service... "beep"

"What do i know about cars? engines? flying? algebra? medicin? etc etc,.."

What i´m trying to say is, just because somebody doesn´t know what you seem to understand as "common knowledge" doesn´t mean the next person does.
To him/her, it might be something totaly new.

I don't mind explaining things to people when they ask and showing people how to do things, but when it takes 15minutes to explain to someone how to plug the green plug into the green hole, you know something isn't right. But you also have the people who backchat and are constantly questioning you. If i knew nothing about cars, i wouldn't be on the phone every 30minutes demanding to know why it takes 1 hour to change the disk brakes, i would just relax and phone up on the day they promised to see how the car is doing.

I thought it was well known that people who work in tech support are the gems holding the very intellectual fabric of our society together. These people moan when they do their jobs; god help us all if someone rings up tech support and wants some advice. HOW DARE THEY, THESE PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO DO IT, THEY'RE JUST RINGING UP TO ANNOY ME. I KNOW HOW TO GET INTO CONTROL PANEL 5 DIFFERENT WAYS. I'M BETTER THAN EVERYONE!!
