I got a tip I should post here to.

I'll just repost what I wrote in the other thread, with an addition:

Well, I just finished the book. All I can say is: Great book, and seldom have (some) people been so right in such a wrong way.

I say no more.

So, I got it yesterday, but hadn't time to read before around 22 last night. Read until two in the night, resumed reading around twelve today. Finished some 15 minutes ago. Was completely hooked! Anyway, it's only 600 pages, that goes fast when the book is easy to read.

(or could)

I probably won't get the book right away, maybe I should as a challenge?

That included time to eat/etc.. but was some years ago.

As I said, Kuci can kick my ass, I think, so I don't want to compete anymore.

I just finished reading it.

I had booked a copy a few months in advance. At around four twenty-five, I went to the place where I had booked it, gave the guy the little slip, he gave me the book. There was no crows, no lines, nothing. I know that guy and I asked him how much that particular branch had sold (it's a chain bookstore, with branches scattered over Pune). Sales were good.

Is crime really so rampant in India that not even book releases are safe?
