I woke up this morning. How can I complain after that event?

That is, that I woke up, not you.

But I appreciate the reminder to check my passport renewal date.
Me too, I decided to do what just for the sake of it, but now that I'm going to have it I can't wait to fill it with stamps

My passport actually expired on 2004

MY national ID is valid pretty much anywhere around here VV

Yesterday I made two awesome discoveries:

- Italian and German citizens are the only European citizens that are allowed to travel to Egypt without a passport, due to internal regulations allowing national ID cards

- people book holidays BEFORE checking the validity and expire date of their passports/visa

We have two cars. While we were driving on Sunday the one broke down pretty badly. It's going to cost more to fix it than the stupid car is worth. While driving the other one on Tuesday, it broke down and I can't get it fixed until Saturday. It's been a pretty rotten week.

I know this is a whiney thread, but sometimes you just need to whine a little bit to get it out of your system.

OT is good for relieving anxiety though.

In the US, passports now take forever to renew/initiate. This is so you can LEAVE the country, but the excuse is counter-terrorism. Now, that is tragic.

I'm so sick of work that I'm leaving for a whole week, and that includes you guys.

On the positive side, Dr Who is back! Sci-Fi channel starting 8:00 tonight.

Indians never lie. It is why their civilization has managed to stay so significant.

So illustrious is the Indian civilization, that to fully know its origins would drive a lesser minded foreigner insane with envy and jealousy. Still, one cannot miss the occasional subtle tidbits of information that aneeshm used to let slip every now and then.
