Default Asher: Give it a rest, CNN
CNN top stories regularly include the info on the latest prom queen who is missing, stories about paris hilton, etc. I'm surprised you are just now realizing this.

I've never seen Ravarrette's columns. I guess I don't check CNN enough. It is weird they put op eds in Top stories.

I have slowly become more infuriated with my CNN RSS feed. At least once or twice a day, "top stories" is infested with editorials from airheads like Lou Dobbs and the flamingly-homosexual-looking Ruben Navarrette Jr.

It's annoying because it's always about the same ****. Dobbs is all about his new-found "populist agenda" and how everyone who disagrees with him is wrong. Ravarrette might as well write for a Mexican paper because he constantly writes about a variety of topics including: Mexicans, Latinos, Legal Immigration, Illegal Immigration, Immigration Reforms, and Burritos.

Who the hell are these guys and why do I care what they think? It's fine if they have some self-important column at the back of some newspaper, but a "CNN top story"? Argh. Self-aggrandizing pundit columnist egomaniacs anger me so. I agree with you. In particular, I don't know why CNN gives Dobbs so much time.

Cnn in spanish is hideous, supposedly it is the Cnn for latin america, but it is totally Miami-centric (altough I think CNN is located in Atlanta) or all about the USA latino community.

The tv shows are also directed at a very wealthy audience

No big suprise.

I lost what little respect I had for CNN when they started calling the OJ Simpson farce the "Trial of the Century".

Most of the news sites have switched to junk instead of news. They've found that Americans are to stupid and uneducated to follow real news so instead they fill the news with pieces about who Britney Spears is banging this week and who got arrested for DUI. It's a joke.

I should hack my browser to turn all instances of "Paris Hilton" into "Winston". The world would seem a much better place.
