Default waht to charge for this pc repair
i diagnosed problem replaced hardrive and installed new os and updates and anti virus. and also took aprt and cleaned the dust from system

How much did the HD cost? Take that number + $100 for installing OS + like extra $40 for all the other little things.

Man, i must be to cheap. i only charge 75$ for an OS install at my work (includes updates and avg, java flash etc etc)

i just gave em the hardrive since it was only 80 gigs.and i charged 80 bucks.

You guys are vultures,..

I do this kinda **** for free all the time.
Same here. Only for friends though. They'll usually buy me a few beers in return though.

One of my friends actually bought me IL2 and a cool flightstick for all the work I'd done on his PC. [thumbup]

i've started doing a few bits and bobs around my village for people... one setting up of a 2 rig wireless network netted me £20 tab behind the bar in the local and de-fragging a hard drive and putting in a new stick of RAM (and removing inches of dust from the inside) got me £30 cash.

People in my village are kind

Yep, same here. Perhaps if it was a business, but for a friend or relative, the most i could ask is a drink or something.
