Coachella. Whose going?

Rumor has it that The Arcade Fire and The Decemberists will be playing at the same time forcing people to choose one or the other. I hope it isn't true.

Ahhh, to be married with children. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif

DAaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! Now that's a line up!!! Well, when I'm moving there, I'll be attending. Beers on you http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif

Who's going...please, if there is something that gets under my skin, it is elementary errors in English...

pinawinekolad 04-21-2007 02:39 AM

95% of those bands are ear-wrecklingly terrible.

karkinadze 04-21-2007 02:42 AM

My parents went to a Willie Nelson concert before I was born. Apparently he gives some of the worst shows you'll ever see. I can't imagine how bad he is now.

That is one hell of a lineup, need Sigur Rós though for perfection. They are the kings of progressive, post rock, indie music.

I wish I could go They had Sigur Rós last year but for some reason they're not playing this year. Not sure why.

Skete 04-21-2007 03:12 AM

I like the line up too. The one thing I don't like is they try to cram so many bands into such a short period of time that it always turns out that two bands you want to see are playing at the same time.

viagradiscounttt 04-21-2007 06:23 AM

The lemonheads also surprised me by still existing, I remembered them fromn the middle 90´s

According to wiki, from 1998 to 1998 they didnt exist, and went back to life in 2005

eljugadordepoquer 04-21-2007 06:46 AM

There's enough bands there that I'd enjoy, that I'd probably go, if I could.

Yyaqyped 04-21-2007 09:30 AM

Indie music is for fags, which makes Jarvis Cocker's presence at this event extremely puzzling...

tramadolwithall 04-21-2007 10:41 AM

Many of those indie bands musicians, are mainstream in england and even in the rest of the world, the only thing that makes them indie is never making it big in the USA

toreesi 04-21-2007 10:48 AM

Then what kind of music do you listen to oh thou macho Drake? http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

Sxscdergh 04-21-2007 11:04 AM

That almost never happens, but this time it did.

I've been listening to a lot of The Stones recently. I also like Pulp, which is why I'm dismayed to see Jarvis Cocker gracing this hipster puss-fest with his presence...

I'd be surprised if he answers a direct question. It almost never happens.

For the record, I answer most people's questions. I don't answer yours because they're usually as retarded as the person posing them. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

Rage was awesome. Are they back together? http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/confused.gif

I really only like their first 2 albums. But they aren't really indie. Bjork has a few songs I like, but nothing I'd pay to see.

considering that their bass player is the only white guy in the band, you are twenty-five percent correct. http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif Whatever, they act white in their sentiment.
