Very few school bus drivers are good at what they do. I had a few nightmare experiences when I was that age. I think it's probably cuz the job sucks so much, so only the worst of people are willing to do it.

In our school district the middle school kids ride the same bus as the high school kids. In 6th grade, at age 11, my daughter was propositioned by high school kids. Ewwww. I don't know if I could have resisted the temptation to have her point him/them out for a "private conversation."
