Why do you not take clear positions in threads when debates on various issues are going on?
Exactly. Everyone else takes up their positions in the threads that discuss those issues. 'Me threads' are not needed to define those positions. Dinodoc's positions are largely unknown because the majority of those posts seem to be one-line pot-shots. |

My prefered method of deciding legality would be for the states to decide. IMO, SCOTUS severely poisoned the deabte surrounding the issue by intervening. 2) Iraq. I do think you've clearly stated you were against the 2003 invasion. What about current policy? Stay? Go? If stay, what's the mission? I'd be for staying. My prefered mission would be to take some aspects of the Iraq Study Group's recommendations (I think they went a little far a field in tying the situation with the conflict in Israel) and trying to do a better job building up the Iraqi army to be able to take over for us. (Disbanding it was a horrible mistake.) 3) Gay marriage. For, against, method of deciding? Meh. I don't really have a position one way or the other on the issue. However since marriage is a state issue that is where my preference would be for the issue to be decided. 4) Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Support one side, the other, or neither? US policy good, bad, meh? Neither. Support is dependent on the particular issue being discussed in the thread atm. I disagree with the basis of Israel's creation but that time has long since passed being a productive topic of discussion IMO. I'd prefer a fair two state solution be found. 5) Seperation of Church & State - crucial to our democracy or made up by a bunch of atheist libruls? Crucial to the health of both the Church and State actually. 6) Speaking of that, God, yes/no/maybe so? Yes. |
