Oh God! Why do they have to release about a hundred different versions of every film? Just when you've bought one version they bring out the super duper deluxe version, and then the super duper deluxe special edition version, and then the super duper deluxe ULTRA special edition version! [rolleyes]

buying any sd-dvd now is a waste of ££ imo.

get the hd versions when they come out. but then again they will all be "re RE mastered" and bonus content added

then there will be the ultimate hd edition

then anniversary edition

sd-dvds a waste? Are you kidding? You can get 2-3 movies for the price of one HD-DVD!

HD-DVDs cost 160-200 kr. That's not terribly expensive (except for combi HD-DVD/DVD discs which cost 229) and for the quality compared to DVDs they are well worth it..

Which reminds me, I need to order some more.

It's highly unlikely that Alien will be out on HD-DVD any time soon because Alien is FOX.
