The bbc has a series called Planet Earth.
is it good and is it aired in HD?

Its amazing, really makes you think. Im 99% sure it is broadcase in HD using one of the BBC HD channels. Im afraid im only on normal SKY sattelite at the moment so wont be able to know 100%,

Its an amazing series - I also bought it on DVD about a month ago (region 2 though).

Actually if youre lucky enough to live near Crystal Palace or the other places testing over the air HD (Freeview HD) then you can pick up BBC HD too (prviding your DVB card software supports it)!

Ive been watching a few shows in HD (Torchwood being my fav at the moment) and I have to say, its utterly stunning!

Suffice it to say, Planet Earth has been aired in HD. Most of the BBCs newer shows are recorded in HD now.
