Just a bad game, Romo has done better than I expected. Tuna will get them back. Whitten and Glenn are the key.

Well, I'm down here in Houston, week after week, screaming "WE GOTTA GET AN OFFENSIVE LINE!!!!" at the tv! The Texans suck, but damn, at least we're better than we were LAST year. We lived in Florida last year, and I own a lot of Texans wear (jerseys, hats, coat)...but I was so ashamed I wouldn't wear any of it.
Our team this year shows promise (Kubiak has earned my respect, and as the players learn his system, they are getting better.)
If I owned them I would:
1. GET AN OFFENSIVE LINE!!! David Carr can throw, but he needs time in the pocket to do what he can do.
2. Get rid of Dominic Davis....he's injured, but should have been off the injured list WEEKS ago. Besides, we've got Dayne now, and he's great. trade him for another great runner.
3. When the pocket collapses, Carr needs to bootleg it more often, or just RUN like he used to! It seems he's not being allowed to do it anymore.(Or maybe he's just too banged up from all the sacks he's taken.)
4. Put sticky glue on Andre's hands...Lord, HOW many passes has he DROPPED????
5. Put that punter on the unemployment line! he just absolutely sucks. Never any "hang time" on his punts, no wonder other teams always have such great field position.

And I won't even START on the Defense...though Mario Williams gives me a flicker of hope.

See, I TOLD y'all I was a football fiend. My football pedigree: My dad used to work for Clint Murchison, who owned the Dallas Cowboys for YEARS...every Sunday from the time I was 3 or 4 years old, we were all in the Cotton Bowl, during all those years when they "couldn't win the big one." I saw Dandy Don Meridith as Quarterback...saw Bullet Bob Hayes run them all the way in for a TD. I was like the little girl in "Remember the Titans"...pacing up and down and muttering, "Haven't they ever heard of a SCREEN PASS??" I stopped being a Cowboy fan after they kicked Tom Landry to the curb. The man was a class act.

Anybody impressed?

I am impressed.

I live pretty close to where Dandy Don played his highschool ball. I remember murchison,
I think the Class acts were Staubach and Novacek.
