I just read this on the Mystagogy blog today. The story is absolutely amazing, and I recommend that everyone reads it. Here's the link:
http://www.johnsanidopoulos.com/2011...-and-holy.html Does anyone know this musician? Is he very famous, or just a small-timer? What kind of music does he make? He's kinda cute... but he ain't nothin' compared to Justin Beiber! ![]() |

I love john sanidopoulos's website, but I haven't looked at it for a while...
Thank you for sharing this story, it made me cry... I think that this very special because of course pancreatic cancer is the most deadly cancer...but besides that, by being a young, popular and 'cool' singer, when the young generation hears him speak of the miracle unashamedly on television shows, they will think more seriously about religion--I am sure of this. Coolness, youth and pop culture have now been associated with monasticsism, Mt. Athos and a miracle of the Panaghia, the Mother of God! This is monumental, and shows that God works His loving wonders for people in all walks of life, and that He loves Greece and wants to speak to the hearts and souls of its young generation which needs it so badly (as the young generation does everywhere). Glory to God! |

Thank God, thank God! Yes, I know Kourkoulis from his songs and they were very nice pop songs in the past. Since I moved to US I did not keep much track of his songs but I was really astonished and pleasantly surprised when I read today on FB from JS' blog the story. And had the same feelings expressed by Alice that God made this miracle for many reasons so we all can glorify Him.

I just read this on the Mystagogy blog today. The story is absolutely amazing, and I recommend that everyone reads it. Here's the link: I don't especially like his songs but I do like him. He is a gentle soul, full of goodwill and happiness. A rare person. Just looking at him and listening to him talk has never failed to cheer me up. I did hear that a few years ago he was ill and went to the US for treatment. I didn't know what disease he had but assumed it was cancer. I have only heard him speak of his illness is a roundabout manner and didn't know any of the details. It's been a while since I have seen him on TV. |

I just listened to the interview. This was a very recent interview because Fay, the interviewer, was pregnant, and she had a little baby boy a couple of weeks ago.
The amazing coincidence of the doctor and his assistant sitting next to him on the boat is unbelievable. When he returned to Athens for the third set of tests before leaving for the US, there was no trace of cancer. This is mind boggling. Listening to him just now means that when he did finally go to the US - to the doctors he met on the boat - it must have been for tests confirming the latest in Athens. Unbelievable. |
