Default Favorite Websites
I have been killing time here at work on the Uss Ohio and I had nothing beter to do than surf the web.
My question is what is your favorite site (non car) oonline that you go to to kill time? I would have to say http://www.homestarrunner.com/.

Homestar is a great site, usually to kill time I'll go there, hackaday.com, xoxide.com, or frozencpu.com. The last three probably won't interest many people, but I go to them on a pretty regular basis. If you check out any of the three you might want to try Hackaday, its got something for everyone.

the nerd side of me loves the star wars website for a similar reason i got into cars. there's just so much to know about it. i don't know why, but i'm into history and wars and stuff, and ones on an interstellar scale (even if it is made-up) is even more interesting to me.
i like to go to wikipedia and just look up random stuff too.

I pretty much worship Google, its safe to say its my favorite website. I honestly dont think theres been a single day in the last half decade or so where i havent glanced and/or used Google. I actually wrote a school paper on Google..im also, sad to admit it, a member of the UGFC (Unofficial Google Fan Club).
Im on the waiting list for the official Google license plate frame, CFH of G4 says its in pretty limited numbers so i suggest you guys grab yours as soon as possible.....$1.20 & free shipping, cant hurt anyone

Quite a lot of Google workers around here have that frame... Someone a few houses down works for Google and they have a frame like that for all of their cars.

Aside from the obvious car sites, eBay, and stupid humor, these are a few of my random favorites:
Fjallfil milk: Make a cow music video
http://www.fjallfil.com/english/
Cagle's Professional Cartoonist Index (Editorial Cartoons)
http://cagle.msnbc.com/
The CCC (Don't Be Fooled!!!) - Hilarious marketing idea
http://www.counterfeitmini.org/
This has never actually helped me find new music, but the concept is cool all the same...

geary - good to see im not the only wikipedia user. do you do on wikipedia binges to the point where you have about 30 tabs open and just absorb all the info you can while forgetting your original research goal too? coz thats what ends up happening when i use it.
