Not at all what I expected... lol Well, it's probably newer than my truck, actually. Looks to be the same color, but . . . I don't think it's that fast. ![]() |

Motor trans and rear end. He does have roll cage in there that I saw in one shot so it is stiffer than stock and heavier. I like the locomotive horn he has going on, nice touch. There are a few videos of this contraption and from the looks of it he races at many different tracks and has a big following.
First I saw it was today in an email so I just had to share the madness. The combine demo derby was also new to me. |

Wow kewl thread. Da hillbilly boyz in my fam are the bomb when it comes to these. I wish I had pics or videos to put on here. They've won trophies in mud bogs and truck pulls, tractor pulls ....it's hilarious.
You haven't lived until you've seen some of their rebuilt/ jacked up trucks . Mainly old fords. |

Motor trans and rear end. What I found most amazing is his ability to keep that thing in a straight line after launch. That's some serious driving... I think most experienced 1/4 mile drivers would have a tough time handling that beast off the line. |

True, I should have said "powertrain build". No way that front end is coming off the ground in first AND second with a factory axle! No doubt he's running a locker. You can see the slicks are bolted to the wheels. Well done job of setting up the drivetrain and suspension while getting the weight distribution just right. |
