Watch for the faceplant at 1:21

P.S - to the children-haters. No one is forcing you to watch it.

Still trying to work out how the hell we will child proof this cupboard. It used to have a metal pin-bar that held the doors shut, but he's put it somewhere. Unfortunately he's not yet old enough to tell us where exactly

Very cute little boy there, you could try and:

Physically stop him (repeatedly until he gets fed up and probably upset)
Move the games elsewhere out of reach
Give him something else to play with or do with him so he is distracted
Fit a bolt lock with a padlock if hes strong enough to open it
or my personal favourite, boobie trap the cupboard with a simple door alarm. It will scare the crap out of him once but he won't go in there again :P

Actually not really bought any for the last 6 months or so. Mainly gaming on my laptop these days. Never bothered to tot up the total cost. Probably be too shocking / depressing

Why don't you just sell all you games that you don't play anymore?!

Maybe you just like collecting them lol. I used to have a collection of about 100 dreamcast games.

Haha, that is great!

I like when he first starts to pull them out and you are just like, "Whyyyy?"

I probably have 200 or so games between the 360 and PS3 but have never sold them. Partially because I like to collect them but mainly because you have to sell them very close to launch to make any decent money back. Also, many of my friends like to borrow them. There are probably 50 or so of my games that would get $1-2 since they were from near launch.

Hmm well if you sold those 50 games for $5 each then you would have $250. Almost enough for a PS4 or Xbox 720!

Heh, reminds me of my little girl, although as she got older she took to jamming the disks into the PS3 or DVD. When we moved them out her reach, we started finding her own things jammed in there instead. To her credit, they was usually the flattest things she could find. Consider this a headsup. Btw, It will scare the crap out of you when he's walking properly and goes near that TV, visions of him dragging it on top of himself, you wont leave it there much longer.

My friend's son will walk up to his computer while he's playing a game and push the reset button. Sometimes he goes after the power strip.

Attachment 1256

I used good ole' cabinet locks when mine were young..
Sadly they won't fit on this cupboard. One of my jobs for tomorrow however is to fit them on the other cupboards (bought them today lol!)

Chris, I can help - I'll take those X360 games from you, so Mini-Chris can't throw them all over the floor anymore.

(In all seriousness, we're trying to build a couple of fun gaming setups at the local community center, and a bunch of Xbox 360 games would be the most epic donation ever. /begging mode)

Ahh, children.

I'd have to say that wouldn't be happening for very long in my house. I'd probably the mean ol' parent taking the "fun" away from the kid. My nephew has learned to hate the word No when uncle uses it. Cause I don't give an inch when I say no (unlike his grandpa who rolls right over at the first tear).

If you don't need the money, why sell them?
