I have some good news, I have been accepted as a catechumen in the Greek Orthodox Church here in Athens, now I have much to learn on the beginning of my spiritual journey! Thanks and praise to God.

I moved here a few years ago for business, but that has gone now with the recession, But there is no better place to learn about Orthodoxy than an Orthodox country. God works in mysterious ways, and most of the time we are not aware of it.

I feel and believe that the Holy spirit pulled me here to Athens just for this very purpose of learning about Orthodoxy, if I had stayed in the UK this would not of happened.

What a wonderful journey! Have you had the opportunity to visit Agion Oros, or Meteora as of yet? My wife and I made our first visit to Greece a few months back, and a wonderful trip it was. I hope to visit Meteora, as well as Cappadocia in some follow-up visits!
