Default Invisible Mercedes
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIGzp...eature=related

When Mercedes wanted to promote its new fuel cell vehicle, instead of placing it squarely in front of everyone in the world, the company decided to make the car invisible.

The F-Cell is a hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle developed by Daimler AG.

The current default B-Class F-CELL has a powerful electric engine rated at 100 kW (134 horsepower), and a range of about 250 miles (402 km).

The 350 Bar (5000 PSI) hydrogen tanks for hydrogen storage contain enough fuel for ~250 miles (399 km) drive.[3] Using 700 Bar (10000 PSI) tanks the range is extended 70% to 421 miles (678 km)

Great idea. Make it invisible, that way all the other cars on the road can't see you and plow right into you. Imagine the accidents if 1000's of these were on our roads driving around at highway speeds.

I wouldn't drive one of those. I like to minimize my chances of getting run over by an 18 wheeler.
Uh... I don't think they are sold with the LED package... just my guess.

LOL, they did it for marketing because "it's invisible to the environment"

I've heard of this technology and uses for planes/drones but this is the first time I've seen it. If a private company with a limited budget can do this, what can the military industrial complex do with an unlimited budget?

"zero emissions"

if you don't count all the emissions from the manufacturing process.

that's like saying surfboards are a "zero emission vehicle".

ever been near a surfboard factory ? makes you want to hold your breath.

"Zero emissions" in advertising is more Jew-BS-to-sell-stuff.

Well the vehicle itself doesn't emit anything but h2o, so I don't think it's inaccurate to call it a "zero emissions vehicle"

But I certainly agree with you as to the marketing of all this green stuff, they don't show the strip mining of materials in order to make batteries for priuses but all the ecomentalists think they are saving the planet.

I've always thought fuel cell technology was the way to go.
Big oil must be holding it back?
Ya gotta love German over-engineering!

If this technology catches on, I'm going to have to start buying platinum again.

This thread reminded me of this video:

Invisibility Breakthrough for Japanese Researchers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PD83dqSfC0Y

Social engineering is ubiquitous in the automotive industry. Its so blatantly obvious you'd have to be living under a rock not to take notice.
