If I understand you, your contention is that Israel is composed of British, American, Australian, Danish, etc... people and the people of geographic Israel are mostly non-Israelites.

That sounds to me like Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God. While there may be some truth to this in that the lost tribes of Israel were absorbed into surrounding cultures, I think it misses the duality of scripture. In scripture I see two fulfillments- physical & spiritual. You need both because there are anchors that point to both. I would reject the purely physical interpretation whioch states that modern Israel is only the countries stated.

The white caucasion nations are the true chosen People of God. They are often refered to as "lost" only because they dont know who they are. They aren't lost or absorbed into a surrounding culture at all.
Jacob Isreal was to become many nations and to this day these nations are still established.....Germany, Holland, Britian, Poland, USofA, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Russia, France, Australia to name a few.
The House of Isreal and the House of Juda will at the end of the 1000 year millenium be brought back together again to make a single branch.
