Paul on third-place finish: 'Nothing to be ashamed of'

Ron Paul, speaking to supporters just now after finishing third in Iowa tonight, said there’s “nothing to be ashamed of” and urged his supporters to be ready for the next contests on the calendar.

“I think there’s nothing to be ashamed of, everything to be satisfied, and be ready and raring to move on to the next stop, which is New Hampshire,” the Texas congressman said.

He told the crowd that he had one of the tickets out of Iowa as “one of the top three vote getters.”

“We have a tremendous opportunity to continue this momentum,” Paul added.

Most of Paul’s speech focused on his favorite topics: the Fed, getting troops out of Afghanistan and foreign policy more generally.

He brought up Nixon’s “We are all Keynesians now” line, saying, “I'm looking forward to the day when we can say, 'We're all Austrians now!'"
Paul's son, Sen. Rand Paul, was visible in the background during the entire speech, looking less than thrilled.

I don't think you should hate America, you should hate humanity. Humans generally are submissive Collectivists who enjoy their own destruction. They are wired/trained from birth to obey authority, do as their told, and not to think rationally. Anyone outside of the norm is Evil to the Collectivist hive mind. Think about it: Humans have put up with dictators/enslavement over and over again. The world doesn't work like a Hollywood movie. There is no happy ending. The Elites have always been with us and I doubt they will ever leave.

The only way a sizable percentage of the people wake up is if everything collapses, then for a short time they will not be tools, but look to what really matters in life. The would only be short lived since these dumb fucks will want a new group of people with a monopoly of violence to keep them feeling "safe", and the cycle will repeat. Time is NOT from Point A to Point B, it is cyclical. A civilization will be born from the ashes of the old one that died and crumbled before it. There will be a golden people of peace and prosperity. The people will get gluttonous and lazy and demand a the monopoly of violence to do more and more for them at the price of more and more force. This monopoly will quickly turn on them and enslave them, it then grows like a parasite, choking every last amount of goodness and wealth from the people until it KILLS the people, collapsing everything and beginning the cycle anew.

The only thing that changes is technology. Technology is the great equalizer that changes everything. The poorest American has more advanced technological conveniences at their disposal than the parasitic Elite Rothschild did 100 years ago. The only thing that will free humanity from itself is technology. I don't want to go more into this subject since it spooks a lot of people, so I'll end my rant here. It's WAY more accurate than 1984 or Brave New World to show where the Elite want to take us currently (1984 and Brave New World are both outdated.) Shami, I happen to agree with you. Back 10-15 years ago or so when I was in college working on a Philosophy degree I spent a semester outlining a thesis of mine about technology and philosophy. Back then in the 90's the progression of AI was much further back than we are now. At the time my argument was (in a nutshell) that man is using technology to achieve apotheosis. Technology is a tool whose end game starts with immortality for men.

Your general statement that the elite are working on this, particularly for themselves to create a master class, is something I've long feared. I do think as well that within 50-100 years this goal will be achieved.

We may be one of the last remaining 'free' men for this run of human civilization. An exciting and absolutely terrifying prospect.

I would like to expand upon this premise at a later date.
