Weird....

Click on the members list link up top. Sort the members by reputation by clicking on the Reputation link.

Notice how all of the conservative members who post most frequently are in the top 11? Now, click the little blue check box next to the Reputation link to reverse the order. Notice the two members at the very bottom of the list, and how they happen to be the 2 most active liberal posters here? In fact these two members happen to be the only two members on the entire board who are an "unknown quantity at this point" (hover your mouse pointer over the green boxes in the Reputation column).

Is this "Dumb Laws blacklisting"? http://bestsmileys.com/wink/3.gif

What the heck are you talking about Tigger???

cafeviahe 10-26-2005 01:45 AM

Well I just learned something new but there is no reason to make an issue of something in your imagination because I have no idea why it sorts like that as Andy shows up on both ways when you sort and when you go to page two you got a new list. I assure you I have nothing to do with it. Everybody started out with 10 pts which is a distinguised road, it changes as your power goes up or down, you lose or gain 1 pt. when somebody approves or disapproves of your posts and you can vote on each post. I haven't figured out why your real pts are in your profile but your repution power is under the location. Just wait till I add ranks. http://bestsmileys.com/lol/2.gif Just new toys don't get bent out of shape over it. The scale is how you vote.

No or I would have done them. This board also has ranks which I haven't added yet. Not quite sure how this repution is working yet so thought I'd see how that goes before I had the rank feature. It's kinda like ya'll can bat at each other with the approve or diapprove of a post. I do have the feature turned off where you can't see who gave you the pts or took away pts. I can give more pts than ya'll can so you better be nice. http://bestsmileys.com/wink/3.gif If you notice tig your power went up. I'm generous at times. http://bestsmileys.com/lol/2.gif

We VOTE on posts??

I never knew that....http://bestsmileys.com/thinking/5.gif

So... does a winner get a all-expense-paid February trip to Minot North Dakota or something? :question

cafeviahe 10-26-2005 02:24 AM

lol no but working on a promotion like to a new user status other than registered, think I'll lower the pts though for the progress cause there set really high like 150 etc before you get a new title.

Sin change your user title under your name if you want. It had a bug but think I got it fixed now where you can change your title other than the standard one.

Zoxeeoy 10-26-2005 02:34 AM

Hmm... I forgot what I had below my avatar before...

I'll think-up something...

Id: I don't understand something. Wildangel hasn't posted here since January, yet she's ranked #4 in Reputation points. If the reputation feature has only been in existence for a few weeks (since the board changeover), how did she get so many points without having posted since the points came into being?

PS - I'm not picking on Wildangel here, I'm just trying to understand how this works

Patabeamn 10-26-2005 11:19 PM

Why don't we just do way with the Rep power gimmick? A person can see how many post someone has, anything else is not important..

drycleden 10-26-2005 11:42 PM

tig, as it was explained to me, the rep pts are assigned according to how many posts u've made.. since all the posts were carried over from the 'old' prog.. then the rep pts were created from that as a base..

really bothers u doesn't it?? lol.. whatsa matter, don't like the 'poll numbers' ur gittin?? Laffffffing

MJ is probably getting voted on where as Wild isn't

lipitrRrxX 10-27-2005 04:18 AM

I see that I now have a red block next to the Rep word, rather than the green block y'all have.

bmwservis 10-27-2005 04:25 AM

I noticed that Zen. You're the only one with 0 points, and I've voted for several of your posts.

It changed from green to red today. Hover your mouse pointer over it.

Weird!

lipitrRrxX 10-27-2005 04:31 AM

Shameless behaviour?

cafeviahe 10-27-2005 05:03 AM

There are minus powers set so you must be going backwards. In your profile it will tell you how users voted on your posts and what posts and how many points you have. I think you will have to have at least 10 good pts to get back to green. Like I said I'm not sure how it gives the power, guess it's set in vboard somehow.
