Ok, I lied. I am going to post a full setlist, but only because I there is a cool wiki-style website that allows people to upload concert setlists. Here is the one I created for this concert...

http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/james-...r-3d381c3.html

It's cool, because you can click on the play button next to each song and see a youtube video of a live version of that track. The last encore is now one of my favorite James Taylor songs.

Agreed, he is better now. Sometimes we get better with age

BTW, in the not so great movie "Funny People" James has a cameo with one really great line he delivers to Ira, one of the antiheros, played by Seth Rogan. While most of the "jokes" that Adam Sandler's character produced fell flat, James kicked butt with that one line.

James Taylor has been one of my favorite performers since I was ten years old. I saw him in concert for the first time on my 40th birthday!

Default James Taylor - Little Rock, AR.
Last night I crossed one more thing off my bucket list...#26. See James Taylor in Concert. Verizon Arena in Little Rock was the venue. I won't post a full set list, but he played all the classics (Fire and Rain, How Sweet It Is, Sweet Baby James, Something in the Way She Moves). I hope the sound of his voice never changes. So many older artists lose just a little bit (or a lot) of their ability to sing the songs as good as when they were younger. James Taylor today sounds as good or better than James Taylor the twenty something year old.

Anyway, just one photo to share...

Two more weeks and we are going to see Les Miserables. I am trying my best to convince the wife we need to go see Hall and Oates in Chicago this summer. Anyone in Chi-town want to host a young couple with a love for soft rock concerts???

I've always loved James Taylor. I took my wife to a concert some 35 or so years ago at Taglewood, MA. We were inside and pretty close. It was GREAT!!!!! We should go see him again. He's brother Livingston isn't bad either.

His son isn't bad either. I would really have liked to see him with Carole King, personally. .

I've enjoyed listening to Ben Taylor. I will have to see if I can find some of his brother's recordings.

The concert lasted two hours, and was full of great versions of my lesser favorite JT songs... Mexico, Copperline and Walking Man stand out in my mind. I have newfound respect for those songs. Before most of the tunes he gave short introductions about when and why he wrote the songs, which I found great.

During intermission, he signed probably a hundred or more signatures from the stage. He was still signing when the house lights went down for the second set, and the crowd got impatient. Being that we were in razorback country, they started chanting "woooooooooooooooo sooie pig" chants until he started playing again. He started signing autographs again after the show.
