Got to talking about cars with a very knowledgeable friend of mine.... Steered me into the idea of treating the bottom end to some reworking (knife edging, higher compression pistons etc...)

And i just thought about how much money i could pull from selling other things... :P Not going to happen, but i could easily end up with a great SRT with about $3k more in mods

just thinking out loud.. that is all.

yeah...

I guess he just pointed out some things that i should include when the car is finished.

I would like to have a decent flowing head and cam setup, might upgrade valves and go full race treatment if i bump into tons of money. But i think little tricks like knife-edging the crank would just make the car that more detailed and awesome.

I'd like to end up with a non-rediculously powered (

christ..let me know if you just happen to fall into that kind of money!~

wishful thinking (the viper at least) but i think you could do some of those things without TOTALLY breaking the bank. Stuff like the cf, coilovers etc could be done peice by peice without going all out. The internal mods you were talking about don't really cost tons to do (not including the 2.6) they just are a pain because of having to take the motor apart to do it. Stage 3 is $$, but you could get to your desired power level for less cash with another setup.

yeah, it would be nice to buy a junker block and build it piece by piece too.

When i get a full time job, after college, (so in 1-6years) it will come together.
