@JBlair: Cut the guy some slack... his girlfriend is on the pill, which brings down the chance of him getting her pregnant down significantly if she's using it responsibly. And since she's probably no more interested in being a mom than Prod being a dad...

The pill can make your missus get fat though (same thing with the bar). No joke, my ex went on the pill and winin two weeks she started to pile it on. Her friends also said that was one of the downsides some people experience, but not all. I know another girl who simply can not take the pill, so it's best you and ya gf visit your doctor and discuss your options (that may sounds stupid but there is no harm in asking a professional). In Australia anyway, they were really helpful and can guide you to the right controception (but there is no right or wrong, some just suit people better).

Hell, I'm catholic and I would much prefer you use a condom instead of having an unwanted child. Some things are just not worth taking the risk for, and this is one of them.

I gotta agree with Blair and everyone else. Take the pill, because the bottom line is it's better to have a few minutes of compromised comfort (sex with a condom, I mean.. it's pretty good already! A tiny membrane of latex won't hinder it much) than 18 years of pain and suffering. Just my two cents.

I suppose there's something to be said for the outpouring of concern here--I mean we are a community and in a way it is heartening to see that so many of you care about others' wellbeing--but am I alone in thinking that someone of PRODIGY's age should be mature enough to make his own decision in this regard (I mean it's clearly not your first sexual relationship, PRODIGY, so frankly it's a little odd that you are just encountering this issue now)? It's not really anyone's place to preach to him.

That said, I also question the motives for this thread, as there are a million and one obvious places on the internet where PRODIGY could find more reliable answers than here on CSS, all without the ridiculous self-righteousness with which many of these responses have been laced. Try Google. It just doesn't make sense why of all places you would feel the need to consult fellow CSS members on your sexual habits--all the while, I might add, really failing to respect the gravity of your choices--and invite the debate that ensued. I would venture to say that the vast majority of us could care less about the sex lives of our fellow members and as I said, I don't feel that it's anyone else's business to judge your decisions or make them for you. When it all comes down to it, just do what you feel is best for you and your partner and leave it at that. Whether that involves using a condom, or the pill, or both, or neither, is really no one else's concern because they will not be the ones dealing with the consequences.

The reason I asked fellow CSS'ers, is because I class you all as friends. This is a worldwide forum, and I hoped someone on here might have had the same issues or experiences. Yeah google will tell me statistics and give me info, but I value friends contributions too. DoMiNo is right, this isn't my first sexual encounter, but this is the first time when a girl didn't like condoms. Though I have persuaded her to let me use them now.

I value all of your opinions, and appreciate your concerns. JBlair, that was the first and last time i'll risk it!
